What’s for Lunch?

EDIT: The surgery was successful, and thanks to all of your suggestions (and some serious pain killers), I’m well on my way to recovery. Hooray!! :)

I ask this question to my fellow team members almost every day. Usually, they’re not very helpful because they bring their own lunch or they suggest things that are much too healthy. I’m a junk food kind of person ;-).

But tomorrow – yes Valentines day – I’m getting all of my wisdom teeth extracted. OUCH!! So I’m asking you for suggestions of what I can have for lunch after I get them out.

I’ve already got bananas and mashed potatoes on my list, so I’m hoping you can come up with some good suggetions.

Wish me luck, and I’ll see you all next week, minus 4 of my teeth :-(

Happy emailing!!

No sympathy from me! I had my varicose veins stripped on Valentine’s day. Nil by mouth (which means, to those who need it spelling out, NO CHOCOLATE.) as I needed a general anaesthetic for the 2 hour op.

When wistom teeth are gone, does all one’s wisdom vanish with them? Only it would account for much.

I HAD THEM PULLED OUT ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO… I MUST SAY IT WASN´T AS TERRIBLE AS PEOPLE SAID!!! I ATE LOTS OF BABY FOOD LIKE COMPOTS. AND ITS A GOOD EXCUSE TO EAT ICE CREAM, WITHOUT BITS. AND PACKET SOUPS, ALSO WITHOUT BITS.

MY DENTIST (SURGEON MORE LIKE IT) GAME ME A HUGE SURINGE WITH A POINTLESS NEEDLE BENT IN 90%, I USED TO FILL THE SURING WITH 75% WATHER AND 25% A MOUTH WASH WITHOUT ALCOHOL, THERE ARE SOME REALLY GOOD ONES FOR BABYS WHOSE TEETH ARE GROWING, THEY KIND OF PUT YOUR GUMS TO SLEEP. DO IT AFTER U EAT ANYTHING… GOOD LUCK!

Try not to be to scared i mean what’s the worst that could happen to you. I mean fair enough it’s going to hurt for abit but you will get used to it anyway try eating soup as it’s not chunky and it’s an easy food to cook when you can’t be arsed to do anything lol.

  18. Liz says:

  20. Rachel McNamara says:

Poor you. You need to stock up on soup. Peel an apple, cut slices off and nibble on them, refreshing and makes you feel clean somehow. You can also get some of your calorie intake through beer, whiskey and the like :)

    Good Luck
