About this blog
If you are visiting for the first time, or are a longtime reader and just clicking around, let me take a moment to tell you what the Yahoo! Mail blog is. First and foremost, it is a place you should add to your MyYahoo (or any other RSS option you use). To put it simply, this is where you should go to find the latest scoop on Yahoo! Mail product updates, new releases, bug fixes, service enhancements, and much more. I’ll be roaming the halls of Yahoo! headquarters seeking all the product and feature news I can find for you.
You can also find us on Facebook, to be even more in the know with what’s going on with Yahoo! Mail.
At Yahoo! Mail, we take pride in actively listening to and incorporating your feedback into the product. The “feedback loop” begins when you write to us about the things you love, the things that you would like us to change, or ideas you would like us to implement. You can do this by clicking on the “Send Feedback” link in the help drop down and sending us a line or two about the problem/issue/feature you want us to look into.
If you have an issue with your Yahoo! Mail service that requires support from Customer Care, please visit http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/. As much as I’d love to help, support issues are way out of my realm. What I can do is help shine a light on something we may need to change or fix for everyone. So if you are reporting an issue, or some unusual behavior, please BE AS SPECIFIC AS POSSIBLE. This means describing what you are experiencing, and providing details about your browser, operating system, and what you were doing when it happened. If all you say is that “Mail isn’t working for me”, there isn’t much troubleshooting my guys can do.
That being said, we strive to provide the best possible service for our users. Stay tuned to this blog for all the latest on Yahoo! Mail, and send us your feedback via the channels mentioned above.
