About this blog
If you are visiting for the first time, or are a longtime reader and just clicking around, let me take a moment to tell you what the Yahoo! Mail blog is. First and foremost, it is a place you should add to your MyYahoo (or any other RSS option you use). To put it simply, this is where you should go to find the latest scoop on Yahoo! Mail product updates, new releases, bug fixes, service enhancements … whatever (in fact we even put that in the banner to remind you).
Whether you use Yahoo! Mail Classic, or the All-New Yahoo! Mail, I’ll be roaming the halls of Yahoo! headquarters seeking all the product and feature news I can find for you. I also keep a keen eye on your comments and questions, so that I can communicate that feedback with the people inside these walls (also known as Yahoos).
If you have an issue with your Yahoo! Mail service that requires support from Customer Care, please visit http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/. As much as I’d love to help, support issues are way out of my realm. What I can do is help shine a light on something we may need to change or fix for everyone. So if you are reporting an issue, or some unusual behavior, please BE AS SPECIFIC AS POSSIBLE. This means describing what you are experiencing, and providing details about your browser, operating system, and what you were doing when it happened. If all you say is that “Mail isn’t working for me”, there isn’t much troubleshooting my guys can do.
That being said, we’re very interested in hearing your $.02. We encourage you to post your comments, quibbles, questions, suggestions – While you’re here, please use good blogging manners. You know the drill… stay on topic, be courteous and productive, and avoid profanity, racial slurs, patent rudeness or anything that violates our terms of service. This is a moderated site and we’ll reject comments that paint outside these proverbial lines.
