I second the previous comment by Gordon.

It is difficult to take Yahoo's professed sentiments about network security seriously when it cannot offer HTTPS protected email.

Does it matter if I use "WPA-enabled, secure Wi-Fi connections" if any upstream router or switch can be used to read the contents of my email messages?

I am currently a Yahoo Mail Plus customer, and I will be discontinuing this service because of the lack of secure web-based email from Yahoo that other companies provide, for free!

I've read Yahoo reps saying that a lot recently. "We take security seriously." Could this have something to do with the fact that even Hotmail -- HOTMAIL !! -- got full-session HTTPS before Yahoo ?! Now, you guys are, what ?, about the last worthwhile email provider to implement it ? Of course, I'm speaking much too soon, since it STILL is nowhere to be found. It's simply promised. Is it really that difficult to put a hold on all the bells and whistles until your 'serious' commitment to security displays itself in introducing session-long SSL ?

Yahoo has great stuff, but it's hard to take seriously Yahoo's 'serious' commitment to security.
