Shame about it not working for Linux users. I am a paid subscriber to BT Internet Mail which is just Yahoo Mail really, and I use Linux as dozens of my friends do. Ubuntu actually. Seems like we are going to be forced to look around quick to use an alternative to Yahoo Mail, as to be without email is unthinkable. Seems shortsighted not to include cross platform ability, I'm sad to be leaving the service I had as I've been with it for years and I considered it the best.

1)will the calendar along the bottom of the Inbox be implemented in the new version also?

2) I was not able to drag and drop between folders - will this return in the new version?

Hey,

Thanks for the new Yahoo! Mail, the design is awesome. Some new themes would be welcome! However, there are some problems:

1) The "After moving/deleting message: Show the next message" option isn't working. Tried it in Chrome, tried in FF and the same thing happens, I get back in the folder.

2) In the last Yahoo! Mail Beta when I selected all the messages in a folder (for ex. 200 messages) and pressed k, all the messages were set as read instantly, now in the new one the loader appears and it takes about 3-4 seconds for that same thing to be accomplished. Now this isn't an improvement in speed.

3) When I hover the mouse cursor over the default inbox, sent, spam, drafts, trash, a balloon appears telling the number of messages that are contained in that folder but when I hoover it over the personalised folders which I have created only the name appears in that balloon which is useless since I can already see the name of the folder. Make it show the number of messages contained.

And this is just a recommendation which I would find useful. The little red triangle which appears on the right of the subject of a message when | flag it is kind of small. Maybe for users with smaller monitors is evident enough but I just don't notice it and I also didn't notice it in the previous version of Yahoo! Mail. Flagging a message should be more obvious, maybe highlighting the background would work. When I flag something I want it to be "in my face'.

Thank you and keep up the good work!

Hello,
I really like the new beta version of yahoo mail, it's really amazing and easier to use, but there is one thing that i couldn't find like in the old yahoo mail. The Chat section; in the old yahoo you are able to email yourself the chat after you are done chatting, just for the record, but now with the new beta yahoo, you can not do that anymore, is it possible that feature to be back? you need to keep the record especially when you work at home or taking courses online and chatting with your teachers and/or friends.

Thank you Yahoo, you always Rock!!! keep the good work going ;)

The search function in Yahoo! mail is hit-and-miss--you can't always find the email that you're looking for by typing in typical keywords. Is Yahoo! working on this? (I've only tried it once in the beta version a couple of weeks ago, and it still wasn't that great. I switched back to the non-beta version, since the beta version was a bit problematic in other areas.)
