Does anybody know how to use the “autofill” feature to fill in addresses of contacts when using the Safari 3.X.X browser? It always worked ok using MS Explorer but I can’t get it to work in the Safari environment

For the last week or so I do not get a cursor in the Subject line when I attempt to make an e-mail. The top (To:,CC,Subject) of my e-mail seems to be offset to the right also & it is very disconcerting. This happens both in IE & Firefox so probably not browser related.

Why do I keep getting SPAM in my in-box? This just started happening the last couple of weeks. I have checked all of my settings and nothing has changed but I re-set anyway. I always move the SPAM to the SPAM folder but they keep coming. Please, help!

Just wanted to let you know that attachments are still causing a problem. Using Mac OS X 10.4.11, Firefox 3.0.4.

To fix the problem I need to quit Firefox, clean cache and then re-login to ymail.

last happened at 1243 hours on Nov. 28th, 2008.

Is anyone else having trouble loading Yahoo mail? I can’t get my mail to load, it’s because the calendar events won’t load. I don’t even use the calendar. If the problem doesn’t get fixed real soon, I’m changing my email to a different site.

My question is, when is YAHOO MAIL going to catch up and offer more fonts to type in when composing emails and things that Hotmail and Gmail have that Yahoo is still lacking in? Even though I dont use YAHOO mail it would be nice to see YAHOO catch up with the times and get more fonts to type in and more stationary and basically be almost LIKE a full fledged email client where its like having outlook on the web almost, where you can do the fonts, stationary, flag as important, etc etc.

I haven’t been able to get yahoo mail for over two days. It is very frustrating! Is anyone working on this problem? I get a message saying it can’t read the address, but it is the same address I have used for years. I am desperate to get my mail! HELP!!!!!!

Can’t Open mail although I can open everything else is there a website problem that i don’t know about, whatever the problem is I wish you would fix it for it is important yo me that I get my mail.

Please help me - I am desperate! For no apparent reason (I CHANGED NOTHING) I can no longer access any Yahoo pages other than my header page. One day it was working, next day intermittently then, no access whatsoever. I’m job hunting and need to get to my emails!! When I attempt to access my messages through either Firefox OR Explorer I get this error:

Can’t find the server at us.mc591.mail.yahoo.com.
The browser could not find the host server for the provided address.

* Did you make a mistake when typing the domain? (e.g. “ww.yahoo.com” instead of “www.yahoo.com”)
* Are you certain this domain address exists? Its registration may have expired.
* Are you unable to browse other sites? Check your network connection and DNS server settings.
* Is your computer or network protected by a firewall or proxy? Incorrect settings can interfere with Web browsing.

I also cannot get to yahoomail. This has been going on since the 26th of November. I have spoken to yahoo and clearwire, am told the problem is happening in various parts of the pacific northwest. No one seems to know when it may be fixed. Very Frustrating!!!!!!

It’s nice to know that I am not the only one who can’t get email - very intermittent - I have seen it several times since Wednesday the 26th, but I can’t count on it. I might get into it to read an email, but then might not be able to reply. I have felt very frustrated.

Whoa! So many people whining over Y!Mail not having frilly cosmetic options. Maybe you should think about changing your priorities to focus on these non-functional items. A slick app. evidently isn’t as important as the interface looking pretty…but what do I know.

Anyway, when using webmail, I receive SPIM through the integrated chat option. When I am online, I believe there is an option to “Block” and/or “Report as Spam.” Unfortunately, if the spimmers send me their junk when I’m offline, the “Offline Message” tab does not have either “Block” or “Report as Spam.”

Again, that’s just a functional feature. Don’t pay attention to that. Instead, I’d like for Liam to sing special messages to my recipients…kind of like BonziBuddy used to. Can you work on that?

One last comment, and then I need to get back to work:

(I noticed my last comment wasn’t reported: Please re-add “Select Signature” and “View HTML” options to the compose message tab.)

Looks like a lot of people had issues with a couple mail farms over the weekend. You might want to add to the Y!Mail Main Window:

- Report a technical failure of Y!Mail
- View network status (map of areas having slow/no connectivity to Y!Mail)
- Click to attempt to temporarily contact a different mail farm should the primary be unreachable.

For the last month I have been receiving 10-15 emails per day from spammers pushing sex drugs…they are disgusting. I have sent emails to Yahoo but to no avail…same thing every day. It is so annoying I am probably going to cancel Yahoo. There is no other spam, just these sex drug jerks. No one should have to put up with that and Yahoo just doesn’t seem to care. It appears they have “sold” their list to this scum.
