I liked the old profiles better. WHERE is the MEMBER SEARCH????? How am I supposed to find other member's profiles now? I used to be able to put in their handle and pull up their profile through the member search. It also allowed us to see their age and interests, and people could contact each other on email or messenger through interests. NO ONE comes to visit me on Messenger anymore, because they can't even see if I'm on line or not. I don't need a DATING SERVICE, dating services match by location, not interests. Yahoo was the only place I could go to find people with similar interests. There are plenty of dating sites out there, and that seems to be how Yahoo is making up for not being able to find other members or their interests. Do you think you could possibly PUT THAT FEATURE BACK? The member search feature? showing if they are on line or not? showing their profiles if you know their handle? My god, this is a disaster socially. I've lost all my contacts because I cannot find them through member search, and cannot view their profiles, OR see if they are on line or not on their profiles. What a mess.

Yahoo will not accept my password anymore, since 11/01/08. I tried to get help from yahoo, but it said my account/password/website didnot match up and would not accept my request for help in finding out why all of a sudden i couldn't get access to my emails. I decided to try just logging out and logging back in, but that made it worse. I can't even get into my email page anymore. I am not getting my emails, nor can I even get into my email page, so a response back to me would probably be in vain. WHAT THE HECK AM I TO DO TO GET HELP? THERE ARE NO PHONE NUMBERS LISTED ANYWHERE TO CALL AND I CERTAINLY AM GETTING NO WHERE BY WAY OF THE COMPUTER.

Thanks for responding and clearing things up, Ryan. I appreciate it. I was a little freaked out when I clicked on the profile link and saw that things were now public (or so I thought).

Things are changing fast in the Yahoo! world. :)
