That Big Purple Bus

If you’ve been walking around central London lately, you may have already seen this pictured here. The Yahoo! bus is driving around the major sites of London for the next couple of weeks. We’re trying to get the word out that there are millions of new email addresses out there and they are yours for the taking.
My colleagues and I had a chance to ride around on the bus, and I saw a number of people taking snaps like this one from my Flickr colleague Fiona. I posted some pictures to my Flickr account too.
Have you seen the bus recently? Maybe you were one of the ones that took a picture? Why not post it to Flickr with the tag “yahoo bus”?

I am back in Uk from volunteering in Nakuru Kenya, they would think your bus was amazing as they dont have double deckers there, just imaging its purple too, Wow!! It would be a nice holiday for Big Purple Bus, Yahoo is big out there.

What about the West Country? We are not all country yokels you know. We do have computers, tv’s, etc. Here in Bristol every year we have the International Balloon Fiesta and a Harbourside Festival. So come on, give our part of the country a visit.

They did have Stagecoach double decker buses for a while in Nairobi sveral years ago but the roads then were regarded as to bad and were sent beck for service in Manchester. Look for the blue double deckers with double rear axles- those are the ones!
The purple bus would look even greater in Juba, but the roads are far far worse, and buses scarcely exist anywhere in Southern Sudan. Here you would need a purple Land Cruiser- and there are so many yahooers here!!
