		<description>Contrary to comments on here, please don&#039;t add a priority or a read receipt feature. There is nothing more annoying than somebody else telling you how important they think their email is. I set priority flags on my incoming emails myself. Generally the emails that come in with the highest priority are the least important ;)

Read receipts are also completely pointless. I have always set my email clients to ignore these. If it was a guaranteed system and it worked fine, but it doesn&#039;t.

With the amount of junk email and filtering systems in place, you can&#039;t guarantee that an email will get to its destination. If your email is that important and you haven&#039;t heard back, then email them again. If they still don&#039;t get back to you, chase them up with a phone call. Bitter experience has shown me that email can no longer be totally relied on, as was the case a decade ago.</description>
