I’ve been getting some great submissions from users wanting to show off the places they have used their YMail account. So far the big theme has been that people LOVE having the ability to check easily while traveling, but don’t let the world travelers have all the fun.
Maybe you have a favorite little coffee shop that you like to hang out and email from. Maybe you are like my friend Thien and you just like sit on your friend’s stoop and leech his previously unsecured wifi signal. It could be anything really, just try to capture some of the physical locations you frequent while accessing your Yahoo! Mail. Hopefully something that shows you and the location at the same time (but not required).
Here you can see some lovely examples from the very friend who helped inspire this little idea (Asami forwarded the WhereTheHellisMatt.com link last week). If you can accuratately identify either, or both, of the Taiwanese monuments she was photographed with, I might have a little something for you.

I think Yahoo! Mail would be the best of all the e-mail services if they would also provide a service for online storage, but to be contained within the e-mail service. Being the fact that nowadays people store a lot of their files online, so that they can carry them with them anywhere they go, I think it’s kind of wierd to have to send all the time an e-mail to yourself just to save a particular file, etc. If they had the ability to store their files within they e-mail address like SkyDrive is, but they didn’t include it in the e-mail services (Windows Live Mail and Windows Live Hotmail), they made it separate. The thing is to make it part of the e-mail service, like you made Calendar part of the e-mail service, etc. Thank you, and I’m sorry for my English mistakes. I think you’ll be doing really well with that service if you include it in the e-mail service because you have unlimited storage. Thank you very much.

About 5 days before i had tried to recharge yahoo phone service ,already bought from my account but still i didn’t get balance in yahoo phone service so i’m so worry how to getback money in my yahoo phone.

When I log in the my Yahoo! mail account…….I felt something wrong with my RSS feeds. There should be only 2 RSS feeds (Yahoo! Mail blog and sports news headlines) but this time I log in 4 more RSS feeds!
Tried to remove the 4 of them, but two for them I cannot remove it! (Top music charts and Yahoo! News: Most Viewed)
I must be missing something but where can I log into my newly created ymail account. The regular yahoo login screen does not recognize the new address. Any help?

I have been using yahoo portal/mails for over ten-years. however, over a week ago I started experiencing difficulty in reading my mails. the problem is there is no text for me to read when I receive my mail. can any one shoot me with reasonable explanation. I don’t know if I would be able to even read the probable solution. Liz

re new Yahoo format, it apparently has (hopefully temporarily) killed ypops. So I can’t retrieve the business mail sent to my business domain on yahoo, at least via Outlook. Now I have to open the web-based version of yahoo mail, then manually forward the mail to another gmail account. For this I am paying money?

Dittos on email search; I can do so only back to July 13–not a great help! This is a new glitch, and really limits the usefulness of Yahoo email. Wonder if it’s related to the mandatory switch to the new Yahoo?

I’ve been using yahoo for the past 15 years or so, without any probs. But lately, its starting to go downhill. Whats with the new silly formating for yahoo mail? Its pretty damn ugly, and pretty annoying. Why do I get Javascript Alerts for trying to delete an email. Of course I’m sure I wanted to delete it, thats why I check it off in the first place, duh. Even the email search for me to look over my previous emails is broke. Whats the point in having an ‘unlimited’ mail box, when you cant search through it? Move over yahoo, maybe you could learn a thing or two from Gmail… Or, dare I say it, hotmail…

I would love to show you a picture of me using ny e-mail. I even PAY yahoo for business mail.
My business yahoo account is xyz123@yahoo.com and my domain e-mail is gary@mydomain.com
With old or new Yahoo web mail, I can’t change the default to show the gary@mydomain.com mail account by default. Even is I log in as gary@mydomain.com – the default e-mail account that shows is the completely unused xyz123@yahoo.com account.
On a web broswer, this sucks as I ALWAYS have to chose an alternate account when I want to read my business mail at my main gary@mydomain.com account.
On a Treo it is IMPOSSIBLE to do, as with the Yahoo mail mobile app I can ONLY look at my xyz123@yahoo.com account – even if I log in with my gary@mydomain.com account.
So, I pay for this mail and hosting service, and yet I can’t tell it which account to show by default.
When you fix it, I’ll show you a digital photo of me reading my mail on the road.
It’s called slight-of-hand. Look at the pretty pictures over here! It’s so shiny! Let’s just trade pics of us using YMail somewhere cool! No need to look over at the other hand folks while we take stuff away, rearrange it, and maybe make it better. Or maybe not. We certainly would not take anything way. Oops, we did. Shiny picture!!!
I’ve been a subscriber to Yahoo for years and enjoyed the format as it previously was . What idiot dreampt up this newest format ? It’s terrible . Why can’t you go back to the original format ? At leasy it’s readable and understandable .
