I am a Yahoo user of many years- everything from mail, toolbar, home page, watching what little stock I have, news, yahoogroups and just about everything else.

This newest *update* to Classic mail is causing all kinds of disgruntlement in many of my groups because of the Rich Text. Most groups do not allow attachments (virus/inappropriate attachments) If the owner does not accept attachments then messages sent will not be posted.

The manually changing to plain text is a hassle and the “>” before each line is cluttering.

We didn’t have a problem before the update. Classic was perfectly fine before being revamped and while some of the new things are good (the flagging, placement of signature etc) the user friendly aspect is gone.

As for the *New new* Yahoo mail- I want to be able to set the default ORDER in which the messages are shown. (newest at the bottom) I can click on date and sort them but then everytime you move from one folder to the next you have to continue doing that. Is there any chance that this will be fixed/changed?

I really do not appriciate you changing things up and making decisions for me as if I were a third grader… I’ve been capable up till now to determine if an email is spam or not, you adding layers of BS onto it for my “protection” is only going to complicate things.

All I want is simple email. If I wanted outlook, I would use outlook – what’s so hard about that?

With the RSS feed, sometimes not all of my feeds are there. Sometimes the feed for this blog is in my list of feeds and sometimes it is not. Alos, it seems that sometimes that the reader ‘resets’ because sometimes the reader won’t show which items I’ve already viewed. I’ve clicked on the mail blog feed (when it is indicating that new content has been posted) several times just to see the same post that I’ve seen all week. I don’t know if I’m the only one experiencing this but maybe you know of a solution?

Thanks for following up on this. I guess that will put an end to the conspiracy theories that Yahoo is tracking personal e-mail within the USA of it’s own citizens. Well, at least there will be a good cover story now :)
