I could not find any specific post to comment about a potential issue with the way Yahoo! Email handles FORWARDING of email attachments.

Has anyone experienced that when forwarding attachments to other apps (like Gmail, Hotmail, Outlook, SharePoint etc) the attachment file name is truncated - and with some apps the attachment is not even recognized.

However, when composing a NEW Yahoo! email and attaching files everything is cool.

Problem only seems to happen when FORWARDING attachments that are part of an existing email.

I have tested FORWARDING with Gmail and Hotmail - they do not seem to have this issue that Yahoo! email seems to have.

Trying to work with Yahoo help center via email is pointless (after about 10 emails going in circles I quit – they always seem to respond with the same form letter and not reading anything I have submitted) – and calling the center keeps you on hold for hours (after 3 hrs I gave up) - I am trying this blog to see if anyone knows anything about this and seeking advice or assistance.

If this is not the proper forum for this please point me to where I should go.

Anyone??

Why can't I move my mail preview over to the left side (2 columns) like it use to be, I am using the old page which I like better but when I try to switch mail to narrow column, it switches all the columns over? I have tried this several times and I only highlight mail.
Thank you for your help.

Lurker of Sorts,
-
The chat feature should remember the setting from your last session. If you "Sign out of chat" from the chat status drop-down and then sign out of Mail, the next time you sign in to Mail your "Offline" chat status should remain.
-
The same goes for ending a Mail session while connected. If you were connected to chat when you signed out of Mail it will automatically re-connect the next time you sign in to Mail (unless you are already logged into the Messenger client.
-
This seems to be a frequent question, so perhaps I smell a blog post!

Hi,

Thanks for that tip. Lately, I have noticed that whenever I click onto my yahoo account I can't seem to navigate into my mailbox to reply, delete, etc. any further than the view screen. Other Yahoo mailbox options that I attempt to use also fail. What do I need to check to fix this problem. I know it must be my computer since I can easily access my yahoo account and its' full range of options when I use another computer. I have another mailbox account with aol and don't have this problem. Thanks

Is that true "We're making some changes that will affect one of your Yahoo!
profiles. After April 9, 2008, mature content will not be
permitted within Yahoo! Profiles.

In accordance with this new policy, users will no longer be able to
designate an "adult profile," and mature content will be removed."

I just want to know or is it hack or spasm?? I know it is part of webmail profile too

POP3 is one of the features of a Mail Plus account.

I have a good deal since my ISP automatically includes Mail Plus as a perk for the highest speed tier users via a marketing agreement with Yahoo.
