Its March 15, 2008, are we still on what subject about old man above 70. Whew! I'll be 72 this April 24 and I was two months now back to weightlifting for 20 lbs. Not bad for an oldie, but you an owner of a Barbecue Cha Carl at Baybay, Leyte approached one time while singing accompanied with the videoke. She asked how old I am. I said you guess. 49 she replied. Wow! big gain. Imagine 72 minus 49, how much? I am poor in arithmetic but had been a Field Cost Engineer working in Saudi Arabia way back in the 1980s. It was TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT SERVICE INCORPORATED for short TMSI. Now I gain 23 years. Not bad, eh! By the way if still this earth goes on turning around its orbit, I may be graduating AB Journalism at Asian Development Foundation College in Tacloban City, Eastern Visayas sometime May, a summerian they call. Now are we still in the subject for septuagenarian or octogenarian. Well still feeling the age of 15 when I first learned the world is not round but oblong. Hehehe! Enjoy reading pal, old maid or teenager. Bye for now! C U sumtym. Fidel the Banzon.

Age, like the world, is in your mind. My body is 63. I've been a Yahoo dual account holder for over seven years, i.e., since You first started those "big" Mb storAGE boxes and was a subscriber before that.
Have liked almost everything you've done EXCEPT the elimination of the side-by-side windows from editing one's Contacts ["All" on one side. The list your were editing on the other.]. Way too much more work now than before. And no one, not even MailPlus ever got back to me!
You weren't thinking of the easiest way for Your Customers to use their Yahoo.
As someone up above said, we do "pay for your donuts", etc.

"Love what you do and do what you love" but don't screw with your Customers.

Peace & Yahoo to you,

I had/have my account set to filter out adult oriented material but keep getting it from the UK and also spam, even spam that has been marked as spam to be filtered out KEEPS COMING BACK GRRRR!!. I hope that if MSN & Yahoo do merger that maybe the MSN management will take the Yahoo donuts away and the techies will have to work for a paycheck. If they don't they will be losing a lot of business as I will start eliminating my Yahoo services for OTHER services that do listen to the people that by the donuts.

I would love to see poll questions having to do with how we use Yahoo mail. For instance, how many more free mail filters would we use? Do we want more blocked address capability? Which features do we actually use? Or how often do we use them? How much time do we take choosing the wardrobe for our avatar? (Okay, that was a confession of my guilty pleasure.)

And in the vein of "paper or plastic," how about "boxers or briefs" for the male crowd? Just kidding!!!

This really isn't the appropriate post to share this concern, but what can be done about having mail misdirected from a closed account into my account? I once opened what I thought was a legitimate email and found that it wasn't even addressed to me. I've been wondering why I get so much spam when I'm really picky about sharing the address (not posting it online, not sharing it with people who like to expose my email by forwarding ridiculous emails, not sharing it with companies that would sell it, not joining groups, keeping my security software up-to-date, not opening weird emails, not verifying my email address by responding to weird emails, etc.) and I think a lot of it is stuff that's getting directed to my box from a similar but closed account. Can anything be done about this?

Also, I think if you use a series of initials and numbers in your email address (rst123, for example), you are more likely to get more spam because these are addresses that are automatically generated by the spammers and they use the hit-or-miss approach. Can anything be done about this?

You asked what questions we'd like to see in your polls and instead you are being peppered with questions! Actually, maybe you can just forward my questions to the Spam Czar. And for his efforts, I present him with the 'Spammy,' a gold-plated Spam can.

Have a nice day, Ryan!

I just wanted to say that I too have Sprint and I have no problems what so ever getting on to Yahoo on my mobile phone. Someone else made the comment that Sprint does not allow the use of Yahoo and that is incorrect, since I have Sprint and use yahoo on my mobile daily. I also like that fact that yahoo is available in a mobile browser, since it takes so long to get to the full website.

I agree, Fidel. Excellent sentiment. I just bought a computer for my 82 yr old mother and set her up with a yahoo e-mail address. I wish I had done it years ago.

I wish there were more fonts and more stationary choices. That is why I pay $20/yr for MailPlus. I must also benefit from the Spam filter as I nearly never receive spam. Also, no advertisements on my e-mails, I like that.

I do not participate in forwarding chain e-mails and if I do forward an item, I delete the trail of addresses.

Future poll questions could be:

How good a job do you think Yahoo is doing at spam filtering? (1) Great, (2) OK, (3) Neutral, (4) Not so good, or (5) Lousy.

How easy is it for you to deal with being able to define a maximum 50 mail filters? (1) 50 is more than I'll ever need, (2) It's acceptable, (3) I can barely manage, (4) It's way too few, or (5) It makes me want to cry.
