Emily King Sings for Yahoo!

poster.jpgThis doesn’t really have anything to do with Yahoo! Mail, but while I’m working on a screencast demo of some of the new features (aiming for Friday! Tuesday :)) I thought I could share with you a little behind the scenes action from the Yahoo! campus.

Thanks to our friends over at Yahoo! Music, singer/songwriter Emily King stopped by and performed some songs for everyone lunching outside of URL’s (our campus cafeteria). Throw in some frozen lemonade and it was a good time for everyone.

close.jpgUnfortunately I couldn’t stay for the whole thing so I’m unable to confirm whether or not she played the moving, though clearly inaccurate given today’s weather, cover of Ain’t No Sunshine.

You can see some additional pics over on flickr.

See you next time!

I love Emily King. Ever since I saw her and met her at the John Legend concert, I have been intrigued by her voice and lyrics. Everyone should hear her live who hasn’t yet. :)
